Sensei Richard Porro, Jr. 

Sensei Richard holds black belts in karate, kempo, judo and jujutsu. His martial arts career began in 1980 and competed for a number of years winning several state and invitational championships. He competed in karate, judo and traditional jujutsu (MMA). During his study of karate he began to concentrate on combat and self defense. In 1991 he received his Shodan (first degree black belt) in Shotokan. Sensei Richard has studied jujutsu since 1993 and currently is ranked as Sandan (3rd degree black belt) and Nidan (second degree black belt) in Kodokan Judo. He continues to focus on combat/self defense aspects of the Martial Arts.

Sensei John Knoy

Sensei Knoy holds the rank of Yodan (4th degree black belt) in Kodokan Judo.  He began his Kodokan Judo career in 1959  and competed for a number of years on national and international tournaments. He is a judo referee and currently heads up the children’s program at Friendswood judo.

Senpai Sandra Werner

Senpai Sandra Werner Started Jujutsu in Germany in 1983. She continued her training in America and received her Shodan (1st degree black belt) in 2007. She also holds the grade of Ikkyu in Kodokan Judo. She is an Assistant instructor for the jujutsu program at Friendswood Martial Arts.
